Heather Cohn

Managing & Development Director
Heather Cohn is a co-founder of Flux Theatre Ensemble and currently serves as the Managing & Development Director. Directing credits for Flux include August Schulenburg’s The Lesser Seductions of History and Other Bodies (FringeNYC Excellence Award for “Outstanding Direction”) and staged readings of Jose Rivera’s Sueño and Adam Szymkowicz’s Pretty Theft. Other credits with Flux include Pretty Theft (set designer), Riding the Bull (stage manager) and Life is a Dream (dramaturg). She also curated two of Flux’s ForePlay reading series (Imagination Compact and Divine Reckonings).
As a member of the Women’s Project Producers’ LAB (2008-2010), Heather co-produced Global Cooling: The Women Chill, a collection of 6 site-specific pieces about the environment. Heather is the Director of Development for Epic Theatre Ensemble in New York City (www.epictheatreensemble.org). She has previously worked with Cornerstone Theater Company in California and with The Striking Viking Story Pirates, New York Theatre Workshop, Theatre Communications Group (TCG), The Pearl Theatre Company, Red Bull Theater, No Time for Love Productions and Repertorio Español, all in New York City. Heather is a graduate of Vassar College.
