Flux Theatre Ensemble, winner of the 2007 Village Voice Audience Favorite Award, presents a new play by August Schulenburg. Other Bodies follows the story of Terry, a notorious player, as an unhealthy attraction to a mysterious woman leads him into obsession and, finally, violence. When he wakes the next day to find himself trapped in a woman’s body, his struggle to survive transforms his understanding of God, gender, and power. A tale that begins as a seductive batter of the sexes soon deepens into a haunting parable of the way our bodies portray us.
