Flux Theatre Ensemble was thrilled to host Fail Better Arts' next Show & Tell NYC Pop-Up on Thursday, April 23rd, 6pm – 9pm. Created and led by Fail Better's Christopher Moncayo-Torres and Sana Rodriguez-Majchrzyk, Show & Tell is a place to "experiment with your 'mess'-in-progress in our supportive space where you’re given room to fail...and grow." This was Flux's second time partnering with Fail Better Arts—our third time if you count our conversation on the Sharing Power Podcast.

This time round, Flux Creative Partners Miranda Holliday and Chester Poon joined Mildred Gil, Francesca Santodomingo, Karen Chan, and Christopher himself in sharing their messes.  We got to hear TWO new songs from Miranda and their collaborator Rose (on the flute!) as well as an updated scene from the mysterious new play Chester's been bringing into Core Work. We also loved Mildred's improvisational monologue, Francesca's haunting pitches, Karen's moving poetry, and Christopher's play with his parents—and his delicious empanadas! Special thanks to Justin Woo and Corinna Schulenburg for supporting the event.

All photos are from Sana, except the group shot which was taken by Corinna. And if you're in LA this May, be sure to check out Fail Better Arts Story Time on May 12!
