God Splat spotlight: Nandita Shenoy

We’re thrilled to continue spotlighting the creative team for God Splat (or Love and Death in Nine Parts) by Adam Szymkowicz with Nandita Shenoy! We’ve had the joy of collaborating with Nandita as both a playwright and actor for over a decade. The questions are inspired by Adam’s beautiful play—make sure to RSVP for the 6/3 reading in NYC!

Have you ever been a deity of the dance floor? Where were you and what song was playing when it happened?

Yes. I am usually the first on the dance floor and the last to leave. And make way if “Push It” comes on.

What’s inflating your balloon these days? (Giving you purpose, joy, fuel to keep going)

I just got married and there was so much love and joy surrounding the event!

How do you keep going when the art you make goes splat?

Go experience another art form.

Do you have anything coming up that you want us to shout out on social?

I’m excited to work on a solo piece with my friend Kevin R. Free at the Connecticut Theatre Exchange in a few weeks!
