God Splat spotlight: Miranda Holliday

We’re thrilled to continue spotlighting the creative team for God Splat (or Love and Death in Nine Parts) by Adam Szymkowicz with AD Miranda Holliday! Miranda is one of the co-creators of the Portal Project and collaborated on Methods in Madness. The questions are inspired by Adam’s beautiful play—make sure to RSVP for the 6/3 reading in NYC!

Have you ever been a deity of the dance floor? Where were you and what song was playing when it happened?

Hands down, “if I had you” by Adam Lambert. As soon as dinghy bass blared through the speakers at the middle school dance, you would hear war screams from every corner of the dance floor. Those warriors you would hear? Yeah, that’s just me and my friends about to go do our Adam lambert choreography!!!

What’s inflating your balloon these days? (Giving you purpose, joy, fuel to keep going)

Being with my loved ones. Sharing our favorite songs. Cooking each other special treats. The kindness and love I’ve been receiving late could fill up a dozen hot air balloons!

If love is a borrowed car, what’s your love’s make and model?

I’m footing it in a Flintstones car! Love takes effort. You gotta put in the leg work!!!

How can people follow your work?
