AbSOLutely honored and excited to be named a Flux Creative Partner. As an actress for Flux, you’ve seen her in Ajax in Iraq, Menders and DEINDE. Other recent NY credits include: Neon Baby, Aloha Boricua, Las facultades, Game Over, The Red Rose (Pregones Theater); Wizard of Oz (Full of Noises); Closer (La Tea); Kennedy’s Children (Duo Theatre) among others. Sol was named NYTheatre.com‘s Person of the Year in 2012. She is a recipient of a Ford Foundation Fellowship for Career Advancement, 2008. She also won the 2005 HOLA award for Outstanding Performance of a Featured Actress. Her short film, Old Maid, which she wrote and produced, will be screening soon at a film festival near you. Besides being an actress, writer and educator, Sol plans to add “yoga teacher” to her list of accomplishments. She is also a staunch advocate for domestic violence awareness. www.solmarina.com
