Flux Sunday, 7/1

Post and pathetic iPhone photo by August Schulenburg

(What is Flux Sunday?)

Playwrights: Nat Cassidy (The Temple), Fengar Gael (Island of No Tomorrows), Larry Kunofsky (Bender), August Schulenburg (Tidal Devices)

Directors: Pete Boisvert, Heather Cohn

Actors: Melissa Herion, Carissa Cordes, Ryan Shams, Anna Rahn, Ken Glickfeld, Emily Hartford, Sarah Amandes

OK, OK, I’m way behind on these updates, but I’m starting with our most recent Flux Sunday, where we staged four scenes in a very short period of time, with everything somehow working out beautifully.

Highlights included

-Anna Rahn joining us for her first Flux Sunday – it was great to have this Ajax in Iraq vet back on Flux turf!
-Carissa Cordes’ haunted, manic delivery of the apocalyptic vision of Hiroshima in Nat’s The Temple
Newish Flux Sunday participant Ryan Shams rocking his way through Fengar’s Island of No Tomorrow
Melissa Herion’s brilliantly funny “Hey” as Glory in my Tidal Devices. If you were there, you know what I’m talking about.

And if you were there, what other pearls of memory do you wear?
