Flux Sunday, 8/5

Pathetic iPhone photo and post by August Schulenburg. Pictured: Emily Hartford, Heather Lee Rogers, Isaiah Tanenbaum, Ryan Andes, Jennifer Tsay.

(What is Flux Sunday?)

This makes two dynamic (and perfectly timed!) Flux Sundays in a row – can we keep it going as the dog days of August start barking? I believe, dear reader.

Playwrights: Mac Rogers (Frankenstein Upstairs), Laura Jo Schuster (The Theory of Everything), August Schulenburg (Upgrade, Jane the Plain, Missing)

Directors: Murdock Lucas, Pete Boisvert, Kelly O’Donnell

Actors: Heather lee Rogers, Jane Taylor, Jennifer Gordon Thomas, Emily Hartford, Chester Poon, Isaiah Tanenbaum, David DelGrosso, Anna Lamadrid, Liza Fernandez, Rachel Lin, Shaun B Wilson, Sarah Amandes, Ryan Andes, Will Lowry, Jennifer Tsay, Jason Howard, Becky Byers, John Greenleaf

Highlights:
-It seems worth noting that every Sunday Shaun B. Wilson plays something completely different, and every time she completely nails it. I believe that’s called range.
-Sarah and Anna were like snap-crackle-pop with Mac’s dialogue and oh yes, that’s right, Mac joined us as a playwright, calloo, callay!
-Chester, Jennifer GT and Will found a funny, yet unnerving rhythm under Murdock’s direction in the car scene for Upgrade.
-It was no mystery that Kathleen totally murdered that crazy monologue in my new unnamed murder mystery play.
-Love to my game Jane the Plain crew for rolling with like the hardest scene ever. Y’all scratch the record of my heart.

If you were there, what record is your memory playing on repeat? And here are some more photos, a far cry from the able hand of Ken, but worth a few hundred words, all the same:
